A inserts into A; Why a Klein Bottle?

A Klein bottle (see picture) is one of those scratch-your-head-inducing Mobius-strip-like optical illusions.  It’s as if Salvador Dali and Escher got together on 4/20 and came up with a new glass to be sold at Bed, Bath and Beyond.

Anyway, you see that the bottom feeds into the top.  Or the top into the bottom.   Whatever.

Life is like this.  One thing goes into another, until it doubles back and effects the very thing that started it in the first place.  (deep breath).  It’s like a feedback loop.  But instead of playing with video cameras at Best Buy, or putting a microphone in front of an amplifier, the feedback loop is biographical.  It’s in your timeline.  A affects B.  B causes C.  C goes back to A, and changes A.

Love the Klein Bottle.  Love life.
